AAJ KA PANCHANG, JULY 5, 2024: The Amavasya Tithi and Pratipada Tithi of Krishna Paksha are set for Friday, July 5, according to Drik Panchang. Krishna Amavasya is considered inauspicious and occurs under the ashubh muhurat time. Meanwhile, Krishna Pratipada is seen as a good time to begin big festivities and is included in the shubh muhurat schedule.

The day will be celebrated with three festivals: Darsha Amavasya, Anvadhan, and Jyeshtha Amavasya. If you’re organising an activity at home, be sure to check the tithi, auspicious times and unfavourable timings listed below.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON JULY 5

The sun is anticipated to rise at 5:29 AM and set at 7:23 PM. Meanwhile, the moon is expected to rise at 5:24 am on July 6 and set at 7:15 pm.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR JULY 5

The Amavasya Tithi is anticipated to prevail until 4:26 AM on July 6, after which Pratipada Tithi will commence. Meanwhile, the auspicious Ardra Nakshatra is expected to last until 4:06 AM on July 6, following which it will be replaced by the auspicious Punarvasu Nakshatra. The moon is slated to be in Mithuna Rashi and the sun is anticipated to continue its position in Mithuna Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR JULY 5

The Brahma Muhurta is set to occur from 4:08 AM to 4:48 AM, followed by the Pratah Sandhya Muhurta from 4:28 AM to 5:29 AM and the Abhijit Muhurta from 11:58 AM to 12:54 PM. The Vijaya Muhurta is expected to occur between 2:45 PM and 3:40 PM and the Godhuli Muhurta between 7:22 PM and 7:42 PM. The Nishita Muhurta is scheduled for July 6 between 12:06 AM and 12:46 AM.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR JULY 5

The Yamaganda Muhurta is set for 3:54 PM to 5:39 PM, followed by the Gulikai Kalam Muhurta from 7:13 AM to 8:57 AM and the Rahu Kalam Muhurta from 10:41 AM to 12:26 PM. The Dur Muhurta is planned to take place between 8:15 AM and 9:11 AM, then again between 12:54 PM and 1:49 PM. The Baana Muhurta is expected to last till 11:51 PM in Mrityu, after which the Agni Muhurta will begin and last until the end of the night.
