Not Everyone Wants to Use an App; Bonza Enhances Booking Options with Website

 The Australian airline Bonza has listened to
customer frustrations and launched a website that enables
travellers to book flights as well as other services.

Bonza was one of the
first airlines globally to lead with an app-first approach, but
has now realised that not everyone wants to use their phone to make a flight booking.

In addition to flights, the website can be used to
book Bonza Holiday
bundles – which include flights, bag, accommodation, and optional
travel insurance, car hire or airport transfers – and is also home
to Bonza’s group bookings arm, the digital chat function and the
travel agent portal, which has more than 1,400 registered travel
agents onboard.

“We’ve listened to our
customers and their feedback was that not everyone wants to book
via the app so we’ve created a user-friendly website meaning even
more Aussies can take advantage of our low-cost airfares on 36
routes to 21 destinations,” said Bonza CEO, Tim Jordan. “We’re
still encouraging customers to download and use the Fly Bonza app
as it’s still the only way to check-in, retrieve your boarding
pass, buy food and drink from our All Aussie menu and enjoy many
entertainment options while onboard – essentially your very own
pocket travel buddy.”

In addition to flights, customers can book their tailored package
holidays to any of Bonza’s 21 destinations on the new website with
activities and attractions to be added soon.

Bonza Holidays’
offering includes a 23kg checked bag, 8kg hand luggage and
standard Pick seats included in every package.

The company also offers a
price match guarantee by refunding the difference if a customer
finds the same holiday cheaper elsewhere within 24 hours of
booking.

“We’re proud of being early digital adopters in
the Australian aviation space and the feedback we get from our
customers is that the app is a fantastic addition to their Bonza
experience,” added Jordan. “But we understand that some customers prefer to book
online so introducing this easy-to-use website as a digital
companion to our Fly Bonza app allows us to reach many more
travellers who have yet to experience Bonza.”
