Chris Pratt faces online backlash for ignoring Anna Faris on Mother’s Day tribute again | The Express Tribune

Chris Pratt has faced criticism from some social media users over his Mother’s Day tribute post on Instagram. 

The Guardians of the Galaxy star did not include his ex-wife, Anna Faris, who is the mother of his 11-year-old son, Jack . 

Pratt paid tribute to his mother, Kathy, and wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, with whom he shares, Lyla, 3, and Eloise, 19 months. 

The actor captioned a carousel of photos saying, “Witnessing you be a mom to Lyla and Eloise and a stepmom to Jack makes me fall more and more in love with you every day.” 

Pratt also added “The 24/7 job of scheduling, transporting, loving, nurturing, managing calendars, planning activities, the nutrition, the boundaries, the rules, the patience, the gentleness, the firmness, the wisdom, and grace. It’s truly a marvel.”

Despite appreciating Schwarzenegger, many fans were upset that he did not acknowledge Faris, his wife from 2009 to 2017. 

“He should have posted the other MOTHER of his child,” a fan commented. 

“And Ana?”, another asked. 

Fans were left divided as one pointed out, “It is also possible that he reaches out to her personally than to post her on social media. Remember, she doesn’t post him on Father’s Day so it works both ways.” 

Another said, “Guys, Ana is his ex-wife. I think it would be weird if he were to post her also because we don’t know what terms they are on.”
