Popular Television serial Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey and Gaurav Khanna has captivated the audience with engaging storylines and interesting characters for a long time now. A few months ago, the show took a 5-year-leap and actress Chandni Bhagwanani was roped in to play the negative role of Pakhi, Anupamaa’s (Rupali Ganguly) daughter, which Muskan Bamne earlier played.
Due to her negative portrayal in the show, Chandni had to face social media hatred and people often post hate comments for her.
However, in an interview with ETimesTV, the actress recently opened up about the social media trolling because of her character and said that it doesn’t affect her. Talking about her character, Chandni said, “Some people love Pakhi’s character because she is straightforward and probably the only person who is currently adding masala to the show. At the same time, some people don’t like Pakhi because they find her rude and for her bad behavior towards her parents.”
“If people don’t like me, that makes me believe that I am doing my work well. I feel it’s a very unique and different character that I have never played before, which is great and fun to play. The rest is up to the audience. I am just focused on doing my job,” Chandni added.
She further shared that audiences have loved the show because of its realistic and relatable storyline and everyone can resonate with it.
Chandni also expressed her gratitude for being a part of Anupamaa. “I am very honored to be a part of such a big show and a great production house. Rajan Sir is one of the best producers and I am truly delighted to be a part of their company and family. I hope our relationship grows even stronger and we continue to do more shows together,” she concluded.

Talking about Anupamaa, recently actor Aashish Mehrotra, who used to play Toshu, quit the show. Now, actor Gaurav Sharma, known for his role in the TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has been roped in to play Toshu.
