Justin Timberlake stops concert to help a fan in need on ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour’ | The Express Tribune
On Saturday night, Justin Timberlake brought his ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour’ to the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
During his performance, the 43-year-old singer abruptly stopped the show due to a fan in distress.
While performing his 2002 solo hit ‘Cry Me A River,’ Timberlake noticed a fan in need towards the end of the song, similar to Taylor Swift’s recent act of stopping her Paris show to assist a fan.
Towards the end of the song, Timberlake gestured to security guards, but when he ended, he paused the show and requested the house lights to be turned up.
‘Sorry everybody, one second, one second. We need some assistance right here about five rows back,’ said the ‘Better Place’ singer from the stage, via video from TikTok’s Lion Latch.
Timberlake waited for a few minutes and said, “Oh are you OK?” before giving a thumbs up and saying, “Oh, no problem.”
“OK, we’re OK,” the singer added, as he started clapping and the audience started applauding as well.
The tour is in support of Timberlake’s sixth solo album ‘Everything I Thought It Was,’ released in March.
The tour is scheduled to end on December 20 in Kansas City.
