In A Touching Surprise, Rubina Dilaik Plans A Get Together For Her Parents – News18

Rubina Dilaik has been taking a break from her professional commitments. Last year, the actress welcomed twin daughters and has been fully dedicated to her parenting role. While she is busy with mommy duties, Rubina Dilaik maintains an active presence on social media. She often shares glimpses of her life through vlogs. Recently, Rubina delighted her followers with a new vlog documenting a surprise she organised for her parents.

The vlog began with Rubina Dilaik revealing to her followers that she had been planning a surprise for her parents for several months. Accompanied by her husband Abhinav Shukla and joined by her parents, they arrived at a homestay where they were warmly welcomed. Adding to the surprise, Jyotika Dilaik, Rubina’s sister, also joined them.

The highlight of the surprise came when Rubina guided her parents to their room, where they were greeted by Veda, the daughter of Rubina’s sister Rohini. Rubina’s father was the first to notice Veda and her mother immediately embraced the baby with joy. Rubina’s sister lives abroad and therefore, it was a big surprise for her parents to spend time with them all together.

Rubina’s mother was overwhelmed with happiness upon seeing the entire family together. Rubina herself was thrilled that the plan had been executed successfully. The family marked the occasion by taking photos together and celebrating with a cake. An elated Rubina expressed, “Finally, humara plan successful hua and the feeling is over the moon. Bahut samay se hum intezaar kar rahe the. And especially mom dad ke liye ye moment humne plan kiya tha. They’re happy, they’re surprised that means the world to us. (Finally, our plan was successful, and we are over the moon. We had been waiting for this moment for a long time. We planned this especially for mom and dad).”

Earlier this week, Rubina enjoyed a biking excursion with Abhinav Shukla in Shimla, where they indulged in street food. Their stop included a chaat shop near Rubina’s alma mater, which has been their favourite spot whenever they visit Shimla.

Rubina Dilaik made her acting debut in the popular show Choti Bahu, where she garnered significant recognition. She has since appeared in several other daily soaps such as Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed, and Jeannie Aur Juju. In addition to her roles in television dramas, she has participated in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 14.
