NEW DELHI: Travellers at various airports across India are experiencing disruptions in accessing lounges due to the abrupt suspension of services by Dreamfolks Services Ltd, a lounge access provider that partners with several banks. This suspension is in violation of Dreamfolks’ agreements with the affected airports.
Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) in an official statement said that it is actively working with the banks to ensure a quick restoration of services.
“We are committed to fully supporting passengers during this period. However, services through Dreamfolks have not yet been reinstated despite our efforts. As a temporary solution, lounges at Adani-operated airports are now accepting all major debit and credit cards from other access providers,” said an AAHL spokesperson.
Established in 2019, Adani Airports Holdings Limited (AAHL) aims to revolutionise airport experiences. Currently, AAHL oversees seven prominent airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram.
The upcoming addition of Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIAL) to AAHL’s portfolio will mark a significant milestone in India’s aviation industry. This expansion will increase AAHL’s portfolio to eight airports, solidifying its position as the leading airport infrastructure company in India and demonstrating its 50-year commitment to improving airport facilities.
Through its management of Mumbai International Airport (MIAL), AAHL handles a substantial portion of India’s air traffic, accounting for 25 per cent of total passenger traffic and around 33 per cent of the country’s air cargo.
