Ananya Panday opens up about dealing with heartbreaks and shares her ideal partner: ‘I really need someone who can accept me for who I am’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India
Ananya Panday recently spoke about her experiences of dealing with heartbreaks as an actress and revealed her thoughts on what she looks for in an ideal partner. The actress, who recently broke up with Aditya Roy Kapur after dating for a while, has been open about her past relationships. She dated Ishaan Khatter for a brief period and also had a romance with her co-star Pati Patni Aur Woh Kartik Aaryan.
During an interview with Humans of Bombay, when she was asked about how she deals with heartbreaks, Ananya revealed that she has a unique coping mechanism. As an actor, she has to put on a brave face and switch off her emotions for 12 hours a day. She said, “Honestly, it saves me my work when it comes to that because I actually have the liberty to be able to switch off for like 12 hours. Who gets to do that? I get to just become another person and not deal with Ananya’s problems. So it actually saves me so I’m very lucky that I have an escape.”
However, after 12 hours, Ananya has to deal with the drama of her personal life. She shared that it’s during these moments that she feels like she needs someone who can be her rock and provide emotional support.

When asked about her ideal partner, Ananya revealed that consistency is key. She said, “Stay consistent with someone who can be my friend above everything else because that’s what I’ve seen with my parents. It’s not the way you love someone but it’s the way that you are when you’re fighting with someone. It’s the way you treat someone in a fight. You can’t lose respect for them. You have to still respect your partner and they have to respect you back because it shouldn’t feel like the end of the world.”
As a young and financially independent actress, Ananya revealed that she needs someone who can accept her for who she is and support her career. She said, “I really need someone who can accept that and support me. I don’t want there to be any comparisons. I don’t want them to feel like me shining makes them any less.”
Ananya said that her ideal partner is someone who can be her friend, provide emotional support, and respect her as an individual. She seems to be looking for a partner who can appreciate her for who she is and support her in all aspects of her life.
