Imtiaz Ali and Deepika Padukone have worked together on several critically praised films, including Tamasha and Love Aaj Kal. The actress was recently thanked by the director. She arrived on set far earlier than any of her co-stars, and he called her “the easiest to work with.”
In a recent interview at the IFFSA Toronto 2024, Imtiaz Ali stated that he has had the opportunity to work with several “wonderful” artists, including Deepika Padukone.

He went on to say that they slept very little, wore terrible shoes, and dressed in very little when filming in bitterly cold conditions. They therefore thought they were the ones who put in the “hardest” effort on the field, according to Imtiaz.
