Dennis Quaid shares son Jack Quaid with former wife Meg Ryan

Dennis Quaid, father of The Boys star Jack Quaid, is all in to seek a bit of help from his famous son.

In an interview with ET, Dennis, 70, expressed he wouldn’t mind if Jack would leverage his celebrity status to promote father’s upcoming film, Reagan.

“How about a little help over here?” Dennis during the Hollywood premiere of his movie, about the 40th President of the U.S. on Tuesday. “I don’t mind the nepo thing myself, okay? Reverse nepo, I’ll take it!”

Dennis was referencing the term “nepo baby,” used to describe individuals who benefit from their parents’ success in the industry. 

Jack, the son of Dennis and ex-wife Meg Ryan, has openly acknowledged his place within this category.

“I’m inclined to agree” with the label, Jack admitted to the Daily Beast in July. “I am an immensely privileged person, was able to get representation pretty early on, and that’s more than half the battle.”

“I knew the door was open for me in a lot of ways that it’s just not for a lot of actors. And I’ve just tried to work as hard as I possibly can to prove that I deserve to walk through that door,” added the Hunger Games actor.

As jack has paved in own path regardless of his parents’ status in the industry, he emphasized on the “need to work my a– off.”

Additionally, Dennis’s film Reagan is set to premiere on August 30.
