Rozik said that he required a companion who was “mentally strong”, for he was “recognised as a person of determination.”
Tajikistani playback singer Abdu Rozik, who also participated in Bigg Boss 16, left everyone surprised when he announced his engagement in May. He also declared that he would tie the knot in July. After that, he announced postponing his wedding. Now Rozik has declared that he was cancelling his wedding with Amira. The singer said that they split up because of cultural differences.
During an interview with The Times of India, Rozik revealed that although their connection became stronger, he was compelled to reach this conclusion due to significant cultural differences. He said that this was a decision he wished he did not have to make. Then, according to Rozik, who described himself as “a person of determination,” he needed a partner who was “mentally strong.”
Thus, having lost the chance to build a happy future with his fiancée, Rozik does not lose hope of meeting a good person again. He stated, “I trust that love will find me again when the time is right”.
Rozik popped the question to Amira in Sharjah, UAE in April 2024 and they got engaged. He had even shared some of the pictures of the ceremony conducted in the presence of their families.
When asked in an interview with Khaleej Times about the engagement, Rozik said that he could not think of anything more valuable than love and he was ready to start a new chapter of his life. He said that he feels that everyday life is not a piece of cake for him and the quest for love was even more challenging with so many hurdles.
“But Alhamdulillah, I’ve found Amira, and she loves me for who and what I am,” he added.
Apart from his personal life, Rozik is preparing for the new season of Bigg Boss 18 in which he will become a co-host with Salman Khan.
