Jake Gyllenhaal teas up with his brother-in-law Peter Sarsgaard for Presumed Innocent

Jake Gyllenhaal and his brother-in-law Peter Sarsgaard reflected on the full-fledged drama they had on the set of their latest project, Presumed Innocent.

In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight at the world premiere of their new Apple TV+ series, the two shared their experiences working together.

“Working every day on these scenes, though they are antagonistic, it was so fun for the two of us,” Gyllenhaal shared.

“There’s that thing with actors that we love those scenes, you know? You always love that you act those things out and it’s full of drama,” the Road House star added.

He continued, “But also, you get to bring a kind of catharsis to your own relationship.”

“You know, there is a way of us bringing the history of us and then also at the same time just the deep respect we have for each other,” the Brokeback Mountain Oscar nominee emphasised.

Meanwhile, his brother-in-law praised Gyllenhaal’s professionalism on the set, saying, “Jake is always very intentional about what he does. He does things for — with integrity. He’s way more ambitious than I am in that respect.”

“It’s really nice to be around someone who really will not stop until it’s what he wants it to be,” The Orphan actor alluded.

Additionally, Gyllenhaal contributed as an executive producer and star in Presumed Innocent, slated to premiere on Apple TV+ on June 12.
