Jonathan Majors and his girlfriend Meagan Good made a notable appearance together at the 2024 NAACP Theatre Awards in Los Angeles on June 3rd. This marked their first major red carpet event since Majors’ sentencing in April for misdemeanour assault and harassment.
The couple, who were first romantically linked in May 2023, had previously made red carpet appearances at the African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) Special Achievement Awards Luncheon and the NAACP Image Awards in March 2024.
Majors was found guilty of misdemeanour assault and harassment in December 2023, stemming from a domestic incident involving his former girlfriend Grace Jabbari. He was sentenced to a year-long batterer’s intervention program.
Despite maintaining his innocence, Majors faced consequences in his professional life, losing several deals and roles. However, his relationship with Good has remained strong, with the actress present for several court appearances.
Good’s sister, La’Myia Good, shared her support for the couple in March 2024, highlighting their focus on “love, positivity, positivity.” She acknowledged the challenges Good faced following her divorce from DeVon Franklin in June 2022 and expressed her happiness for her sister’s new relationship.
