It all started when Asim Riaz failed to complete a task and started hurling accusations at the show’s team for setting up a difficult challenge.
The dramatic clash in the premiere episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 has caused a buzz on social media. Asim Riaz’s aggressive outburst, which resulted in a heated altercation with host Rohit Shetty, has left the Internet stunned. Many celebrities have expressed their disappointment with Asim’s behaviour, criticising the former Bigg Boss runner-up for his lack of professionalism. Notably, Kushal Tandon and Arjit Taneja have also weighed in on the controversy.
Arjit Taneja, in a post on X, called Asim Riaz “deluded” while also reflecting on the need for mental help. He remarked, “I did Khatron Ke Khiladi last year and had one of the best times of my life. This guy is clearly deluded AF; it’s a stunt-based show, get over Bigg Boss. Nobody gives a f***.” Arjit did not hold back his frustration as he went ahead to question how the ace director Rohit Shetty tolerated Asim’s behaviour. He added, “I so wish he was in my season. Don’t know how Rohit sir tolerated this idiot, On a serious note He needs help.”
Reacting to Arjit Taneja’s post, Kushal Tandon also slammed Asim Riaz for being “arrogant and unprofessional.” Kushal remarked, “I wish he did that in front of me. He really needs help. Mein do teen stunt Marne aya hoon, aree bhai maal nahi hain jo marleghaaaa. n when he said I will take no money if anyone can do that stunt from the team, then well, he should stick to his words and take no money.”
What triggered the backlash was an incident in the premiere episode wherein Asim Riaz failed to complete a task. Subsequently, he started hurling accusations at the show’s team for setting up a difficult challenge. It led to a heated exchange between Asim and Rohit Shetty, escalating further when Abhishek Kumar also got involved. Following the tension, Rohit Shetty stepped in with the decision to expel Asim from the show.
Meanwhile, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 premiered on July 27 with contestants including Shalin Bhanot, Krishna Shroff, Gashmeer Mahajani, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sumona Chakravarti and Gashmeer Mahajani, Aashish Mehrotra, Shilpa Shinde, Niyati Fatnani, Karan Veer Mehra, Aditi Sharma and Krishna Shroff. Shot in Romania, the show will see celebrities performing various stunts to claim the title of winner.
