Nita Ambani’s Mughal empire Golconda diamond ring made a comeback at Anant-Radhika’s reception – Times of India

The sari was embellished with intricate real silver embroidery, and she paired it with an archival blouse adorned with real silver zari. To complement her regal attire, Nita Ambani wore some of the most exquisite pieces of jewellery.

Among her stunning accessories, it was her chunky diamond ring that stole the spotlight. Nita Ambani wore the ‘Mirror of Paradise’ ring, a spectacular 52.58-carat D-color internally flawless diamond featuring tapered baguette-cut diamonds. Originally mined in the Golconda region of India, this extraordinary ring is valued at an astonishing USD 6.5 million, approximately Rs 53 crore. The diamond ring has a rich history, having been part of the Mughal empire‘s jewellery collection and previously sold at Christie’s auction in 2019 as part of the Maharajas and Mughal auction.

This isn’t the first time Nita Ambani has flaunted this historical piece from her collection. At Anant and Radhika’s hastakshar ceremony in March 2024, the businesswoman wore the same royal jewel alongside her customized Manish Malhotra handloom Kanchipuram sari and a magnificent emerald-studded diamond necklace.
