In an interview with Mashable India, the actress expanded on her previous remarks, acknowledging that the Western culture of “I can do everything by myself” is acceptable.However, she emphasizes the importance of supporting nuclear families and households of two people, who can play a crucial role in raising children to be positive members of society in the future.

Nora clarified that her remark was taken out of context, stating that she apologized for making people upset and hurting them, but it was not intentional. Nora added that she does not want what’s happening in the West to occur here because there’s nothing better than upholding traditions, values, and morals.In an earlier chat with BeerBiceps, Nora Fatehi expressed skepticism about gender equality and criticized the notion of complete independence, stating that ‘feminism’ has ruined society. She emphasized that while women should be independent and have their own careers, they are also natural nurturers, and radical feminism can pose risks to society.
