Liam Payne popularly known for being a part of the band ‘One Direction’ passed away on Thursday and led to a shock wave among fans. He was 31 years old and was found dead at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The police confirmed the singer‘s death and shared a statement, which read, “Liam James Payne, composer and guitarist, former member of the band One Direction, died today after falling from the third floor of a hotel.”
It remains unclear whether this fall from the balcony of the hotel was accidental.The hotel manager said he heard a loud noise from the back of the building and that’s when the police found his dead body in the hotel’s interior patio. The singer’s final post on Snapchat is believed to be a photo from the hotel stay which went viral. Among the other posts which went viral, it is now believed that the hotel had made a 911 call to the police, reporting that there is an aggressive man who is destroying the things in the hotel and he may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The person who made the 911 call was heard saying, “We have a guest who is on drugs and is destroying the whole room, so we need someone to come.” As per a report in The Mirror, the man in the audio said, “When he is conscious, he is destroying the entire room, and we need you to send someone.”

As per reports, he was also spotted on the CCTV of the hotel lobby destroying a laptop. The news of Liam’s death has left everyone shocked and many celebs reacted.
Singer Charlie Puth wrote a heartwrenching message which read, “I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I can not believe he is gone … I am so upset right now, may he rest in peace.”
Musician Zedd expressed grief as he wrote on X, “RIP Liam… I can’t believe this is real… absolutely heartbreaking…”
Payne is survived by his 7-year-old son whom he had with singer Cheryl. Liam and Cheryl had split in 2018.
