Pegasus Airlines Launches Flights Between Istanbul and Bratislava, Slovakia

 Pegasus Airlines has launched flights between Istanbul and Slovakia’s capital
city, Bratislava.

The airline is operating the new direct service between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and
M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava with two flights per week on Wednesdays and Sundays.

“We are delighted to be launching a scheduled
service connecting Bratislava and Slovakia with the Turkish
metropolis of Istanbul, marking our 100th international route,”
said Emre Pekesen, Sales and Network Planning Group Director of
Pegasus Airlines. We are also looking forward to launching flights
between Bratislava and Antalya from 18 May 2024 for the summer
season. We would also like to thank the management of Bratislava
Airport for their exceptional cooperation.”

On Wednesdays, flight PC411 is scheduled to depart
from
Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) at 11:55 and
arrive at M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava (BTS) at 13:05. From
Bratislava, PC412 is slated to leave at 14:00, arriving at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen
Airport at 17:15.

On Sundays, flight PC411 is scheduled to depart
from
Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) at 10:20 and arrive at M. R.
Štefánik Airport Bratislava (BTS) at 11:30. From Bratislava, PC412
is slated to leave at 12:30, arriving at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen
Airport at 15:45.

“Thanks to these new scheduled flights to Istanbul, Bratislava has a
connection with an airport which is a hub – therefore offering
the option of transfer connections, e.g. to Cappadocia, Kuwait or
Georgia and other destinations within the Pegasus Airlines
network,” said Dušan Novota, Chairman of
the Board and General Director of M. R. Štefánik Airport
Bratislava. “The scheduled year-round route to Istanbul will be joined
by the carrier’s direct route to Antalya along with other
scheduled and charter flights to (and from) Antalya, and so this
year we expect that the highest number of passengers to date will
fly from Bratislava to Türkiye.”
