Press release in circulation on Kenya projects is fake: Adani group – Times of India
NEW DELHI: The Adani Group on Monday stated that no press statements have been issued by the Group or any of its companies or subsidiaries related to its ongoing projects and presence in Kenya.
An Adani Group spokesperson said that “multiple fraudulent press releases “are being circulated by “vested interests with malicious intent” including one titled “Adani Group Denounces Baseless Accusations and Threats”, related to the Group’s presence in Kenya.
“We strongly condemn this deceitful act and urge everyone to disregard these fake fraudulent releases completely. We will take legal action against anyone involved in spreading false narratives,” the Adani Group spokesperson said in the statement.
The group further clarified that all its official press releases are made on its websites.
The spokesperson also said that the media and influencers should verify the facts and sources before publishing or broadcasting any articles or news about the group.
