Queen Elizabeth’s children are said to be going through difficult phase of their life amid ongoing crisis within the family.

Princess Anne and Prince Edward are reportedly testing their eldest brother King Charles’ patience with their hurtful move, according to a new report.

The Princess Royal and the Duke of Edinburgh are thought to be “quietly supporting Prince Andrew” amid his feud with the monarch.

The Duke of York, who had reportedly confined his movement to avoid rift with the King, is understood to have been encouraged to move out of Royal Lodge by his siblings.

It comes amid reports that the 75-year-old is no longer prepared to meet the cost of providing its security, and wants Andrew to leave the royal lodge to move into less expensive property Frogmore Cottage.

However, according to new reports, King Charles sister Princess Ann and brother Edward are trying to rescue Andrew from the crisis.

Meanwhile, some commentators have suggested that Prince Edward and his wife Sophie could make good options to move into Royal Lodge if the Duke decides to leave the 30-room mansion.

But Richard Kay, a royal author, has disputed these claims due to the duke’s alleged “loyalty” to his older brother.

Writing in The Mail, Kay said: “The Edinburghs have their own home, Bagshot Park, which they hold on a long lease from the Crown Estate, and insiders suggest that transplanting them into Royal Lodge could dramatically disrupt family dynamics.”

“It is also significant that Edward and Princess Anne have both quietly supported their brother Andrew’s desire to carry on where he is. All this, of course, hardly matters if Prince Andrew refuses to move.”

Kay also suggested that Prince Edward sometimes “loyally joins” Prince Andrew on his horse rides in Windsor.
