KARACHI: After days of experiencing extreme heat amid the ongoing heatwave, Karachiites can finally get a break from sweltering weather as sea breeze is likely to drop the city’s temperature.
The port city, which has been witnessing a spell of scorching heat these days, is expected to experience a drop in mercury from today (Sunday).
However, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and humid weather for the next 24 hours in Karachi.
The maximum temperature in the city is expected to remain between 35 to 37°C. Currently, the winds are blowing at a speed of 16 kilometres per hour from the West with humidity levels recorded at 75%.
PTI trio directed to appear before FIA’s team on Wednesday.
Development comes after PTI leaders’ contradictory statements.

A day after several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders made contradictory remarks on the controversy surrounding a video about the 1971 fall of Dhaka posted from party founder’s X account, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday issued notices to three more PTI leaders.
As per the notices, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan, Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan and Information Secretary Raoof Hasan have been summoned before the probe agency at 11am on Wednesday.
