Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, has disclosed that the Kennedy campaign is contemplating the possibility of withdrawing from the presidential race and endorsing Donald Trump.

Shanahan made these remarks during an appearance on Tom Bilyeu’s ‘Impact Theory’ podcast, outlining the two options currently under consideration by the campaign.

Shanahan explained that the first option is to continue running and form a new political party, although this could result in splitting the vote and potentially leading to a Kamala Harris and Waltz presidency. The second option involves stepping down from the race and aligning with Trump.

These discussions arise amid reports of financial difficulties within the Kennedy campaign. Recent filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) indicate that the campaign had £3.9 million in cash on hand at the end of last month but owed £3.4 million, highlighting challenges in maintaining a positive cash flow as the November election draws closer.

In July alone, Kennedy’s campaign spent over £7 million but only raised approximately £5.6 million, with Shanahan contributing a significant portion of that amount. To cut costs, the campaign has limited in-person rallies, opting instead for digital events and podcast appearances.

However, with the financial gap widening and the two main candidates, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, gaining momentum, the future viability of Kennedy’s campaign remains uncertain.
