Sabrina Carpenter stunned as Central Cee ignores her at Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week Show | The Express Tribune

Sabrina Carpenter was taken aback when British rapper Central Cee ignored her while engrossed in his Nintendo Gameboy at the Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week show. Carpenter, known for her summer hit single, was seated next to Central Cee, real name Oakley Neil Caesar-Su, at the debut of Louis Vuitton’s spring-summer 2025 menswear collection. Despite the exclusive event, the 26-year-old rapper greeted Carpenter with a brief nod before focusing on his Gameboy.

Carpenter, 25, attended the event without her boyfriend, Oscar-nominated actor Barry Keoghan. She saw the humorous side of the situation as Central Cee leaned away from her, preoccupied with his game. Carpenter and Keoghan have been dating for at least six months, with Keoghan starring in her “Please Please Please” music video. Carpenter expressed her discomfort with publicly referring to Keoghan as her boyfriend, telling Rolling Stone, “I write songs about exactly how I feel, so I guess I can’t be so surprised that people are interested in who and what those songs are about.”

Carpenter confirmed that her new single was inspired by the 31-year-old Irishman, quoting her own lyric in the comments of his June 6th Instagram post announcing the video: “I heard that you’re an actor!” The video features Carpenter as a gangster moll to Keoghan’s criminal character, showcasing his stunt-fighting abilities.

The couple first met at the Givenchy runway presentation during Paris Fashion Week on September 28, before being seen on a date in Brentwood on December 3. Keoghan, who has a 22-month-old son from a previous relationship, and Carpenter, who has 71.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify, have been a subject of public interest.

Carpenter recently gained significant exposure by serving as the opening act for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Mexico, South America, Australia, and Singapore. She spoke highly of Swift, saying, “We’re very, very verbal with each other about our mutual love and admiration.” Carpenter also addressed the controversy over her modeling for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand, stating that she has been communicative with Swift about the situation and supports her fully.

Carpenter’s new album, “Short n’ Sweet,” produced by Jack Antonoff, is set to be released on August 23, including the single “Please Please Please.”
