If you are planning an international trip this Christmas, flight tickets should be booked at least 101 days before departure. The best deals, however, can sometimes be acquired 50 days prior to the date of travel.
In the case of domestic flights, the best time to book tickets is 38 days before the departure date. Those who want to celebrate Christmas and New Year in European countries must plan their journey at least 94 days before the speculated time.
